Famous Dollar-TO-Hundred

Effect: A crisp one dollar bill is shown, the hands are shown to be completely empty, then the magician takes the dollar bill, squeezes it between his fingers, and then reveals it to be, miraculously, a hundred dollar bill!

(As shown by Criss Angel and David Blaine on national T.V)

Preparation: You need a dollar and a hundred bill. Fold both the bills in half. They should be two half-folded bills. Take the hundred dollar bill and glue one flap of it on one flap of the one dollar bill. Once this done you should have two dollar bills, one side of each bill glued together.

Method:

Now it is time for the amazing performance of Dollar to Hundred.

1. First fold the back dollar bill (hundred dollar bill) towards its already folded
and glued half, to complete the half of the Hundred Dollar Bill.

2. Now, display the one whole side of the One Dollar Bill to the audience, you can
Fold it slightly inwards (not too much or else the other folded hundred dollar
Bill would become evident) so the audience can see BOTH the sides of the Dollar Bill.

3. After you have displayed the one dollar bill to the audience, fold it lengthwise. Make sure you don’t let go of the hundred dollar bill flap on the back of the One Dollar Bill.

4. Cover the one dollar (folded) bill with your fingers. (The next move must be done fairly quickly), you turn the bill quickly over, make sure your fingers are still masked around the bill.

5. Now, you should have the one dollar bill facing you, and the hundred dollar bill facing the audience, yet still masked with your fingers. Unfold the top flap of the hundred dollar bill (which obviously wasn’t glued to the one dollar bill).

6. Reveal the hundred dollar bill, you can also slightly fold the non-glued part of the outward, just to show the audience that the one dollar bill had actually just turned into a one hundred dollar bill!! After this you can put the bill in your pocket, and bow to the audience at their thunderous applause!

Advice and Tips for Performance:

This is one of the greatest tricks that you would ever be able to perform. But just like all of my
other tricks, this trick also requires a lot of practice. You can review the trick several times in
front of a mirror just to perfect. Have Fun!

Criss Angel's Coin In Can

Coin in Can

Written By: Kurtiss Gooch

Effect:
A coin, signed by a spectator is smashed through a can, without making a hole in it! When the can is opened, the signed coin is poured out!
A similar effect (Sinful aka Quarter through Soda Can) is performed by Criss Angel on his 'Mindfreak' series. This method is not necessarily how Criss Angel performs it, but the effect is similar.
After the spectator has signed the coin, the magician takes it, places it in his
palm, and takes an unopened soda can in his other, bottom facing the coin.
Then, he looks at both, and hits the can with his right hand (the one with the quarter), and shows his hand empty when removed, then the soda still sealed, the bottom solid.
He then opens the can, pours it out, and shows that the coin is indeed IN the can!
advice
This trick is a somewhat complex piece of work, you need not know any well-known sleights, but just get a feel of how to hide small things and tell stories and make yourself look professional. Out of a 1-10 scale on difficulty, I'd give it an 8. Not too up-close, but can be pulled off from about five feet away, and in front of crowds if done right.

Method:
You start by having an unopened can of drink, a quarter (or smaller coin, but quarters works best = any coin that will fit in the opening will do) and a permanent marker.
Begin by showing the unopened can and let them examine it. Also, let them examine the coin and mark it with your marker, in any way they so choose.
When you get it back, you put it right in your
palm, so they can see, and hold the can by the openable part, so they see the bottom. Then hit your palm on the bottom of the can. The coin will be between your palm and the dent in the bottom.
Then remove your
palm, and show it empty, but turn the can towards you so they can't see the quarter.
Then turn the can so they see the top, and catch the coin in your hand between the ring and pinky fingers and your
palm. Now show both the top and bottom solid and sealed.
To finish, go to open the can, and move the coin up to your index and middle fingers, hiden from audience. Open the can with the coin on top under the thumb, so it falls in when you open it.
Pour it out in a glass or whatever, and make sure they see you doing this, hold it from the bottom.
Lo and Behold, their coin is IN the can.
End in whatever manner you so choose.

Pen Through Dollar Bill

Courtesy of : http://www.royal.no/elliot
Effect: An ordinary pen is displayed to the spectator, then a dollar bill is borrowed from the spectator. Suddenly the magician pokes the pen through the dollar bill and twirls the dollar bill around, just to show the spectator that the pen is really though the bill. Then just as suddenly as the magician had poked the pen in the dollar bill, he/she quickly rips the pen out, and displays the dollar bill to the spectators, unbelieveably, there are no holes or rips in the dollar bill, a brilliant effect!

Method: Many magicians have preformed this affect and it has always been a great one to be viewed by spectators. So heres how to do the trick, all you need is an ordinary pen (with a removable top) and a dollar bill.

Display the bill in your left hand, and the pen in your right.

Crease the bill in the middle with both hands.

Hold the bill facing the audience and let the pen go behind it. And start folding the bottom part upwards.

Continue pressing up the bill with the left thumb and steal the tip with your right hands 3rd and 4th finger in the cover.

Stress the smoothness at this point.

And while practising have in mind what it is supposed to look like.

Finish the movement with the left thumb and clip the bill with the 1st and 2nd finger of the right hand.

The tip remains clipped between the fingers.

Tilt the bill forward so that the cap is pointing towards the spectators and let the tip attach to the pen outside the bill while doing it.

This is done to convince the audience that the pen is lying inside the folded bill.

Tilt the bill back so it is straight in front of you.

Grab the cap with the right hand and seemingly push the pen firmly "through" the bill.
Making a nice "ripping-sound".

Put the index finger inside the folded bill and try to give it a convincing display as you pull the pen to the right.

Advice on Preformance:
This is an amazing trick which always leaves a "baffling" impact upon the spectator. This trick, though it may look simple, requires a lot of practice, so PRACTICE it!!!!
